Literature Text

11. Memory

Through death they are forgotten.
Through memories they live forever.

A tea party.
A walking stick covered in badges.
Flowers and shells.
Someone give me an honest opinion... To short?

I have a second version where I explain what each item means to me and the memories they hold, but I think this works as well, short and sweet? Less is more? Keep the memories alive in my head?

Turmoil!

I like it just like this. Memories are fleeting things. Random images that have only meaning to the one recollecting.

I wouldn't change a thing. Those seemingly random words jolt the readers memories as well, thrying to find what the bring back up from our own, thus making the point of the whole poem.
Love it.

Cheers!
